On 11/25/2013 at approximately 7:50 p.m., Lafayette City Police responded to an armed robbery at the Hit and Run convenient store at 2007 Johnston St.  The suspect entered the store with a T-shirt rapped around his face, pointed a large semi-automatic weapon and demanded money.  The suspect, described as a black male, left the store with $188 in cash and fled towards Johnston St. and Oakcrest Dr.  If you have any information about this crime contact the Lafayette Police Department or crime stoppers at 232-TIPS.
