The University police patrol areas off-campus where large numbers of UL students live and socialize, including the McKinley Street Strip, downtown Lafayette and apartment complexes where large numbers of students reside. The specially-equipped police cruiser the team uses was purchased by UL Lafayette’s Student Government Association.
