Karshayla Thomas, 5/9/1994 was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. Both the suspect and the victim were students.
On 11-20-2013 at approximately 10:17 p.m. UL Lafayette Police responded to Legacy Park apartments in reference to an altercation. The victim suffered non-life threatening stab wounds and was treated at a local hospital and released. The suspect was taken into custody on the scene. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
