Campus Safety Alert

Thursday afternoon at approximately 2:30pm on 06/27/2013, UL Police responded to a call in reference to suspicious circumstances. A white Toyota Camry, possibly a 2012-2013 model, with an unknown Mississippi license plate, occupied by two black males was seen near the 200 block of Cajundome Blvd. near the UL Transit Bus Stop. One of the male subjects in the vehicle beckoned for a female student waiting at the bus stop to approach the vehicle to assist with directions. At that time, the UL transit bus arrived and the student advised she could not assist and boarded the UL transit bus. The vehicle followed the bus to main campus and drove by the bus stop. At this time, no crime has been committed; however, if you see a 2012-2013 white Toyota Camry with a Mississippi license plate near campus, please contact the UL Police Department at 337-482-6447.
